Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan utama pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi kesebangunan dua segitiga di kelas IX MTs Al-khairaat Balamoa. Hal ini disebabkan karena siswa belum dapat memahami konsep kesebangunan dua segitiga dengan benar. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini, Bagaimana penerapan teori belajar Van Hiele pada pembelajaran kesebangunan dua segitiga sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IX Mts. Al-khairat Balamoa? Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada model Kemmis dan MC. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat komponen, yaitu (1) Perencanaan, (2) Pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) Observasi, dan (4) Refleksi. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini melalui lembar observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan data hasil belajar siswa. Data yang diperoleh disajikan dalam bentuk paparan naratif. Kata Kunci: teori belajar van hiele, hasil belajar, kesebangunan dua segitiga Abstrack: The main problem in this research is the low of student’s learning outcomes in class IX MTs Al-Khairaat Balamoa on similarity of two triangles. This matter was because of the students could not understand the concept of similarity of two triangles correctly, so that they cannot apply the concept of similarity of two triangles correctly. The problem formulation in this research is how the application of learning theory Van Hiele on similarity of two triangles can improve the learning outcomes of students of class IX MTs Al-Khairaat Balamoa? The design of this research refered to the Kemmis’ and Mc.Taggart’s research design, that consist of 4 components, those are 1) planning (2) Action (3) observation (4) reflection. Data of this research was collected through observation sheet, interview, note fields, and data of student’s learning outcomes. Data obtained are presented in narrative exposure form.
