Simulasi Makanan Per Hari Tinggi Zat Besi Remaja Putri Peduli Stunting Kelurahan Sendangmulyo

Abstract

Abstrak Stunting pada remaja terjadi karena masalah gizi saat balita atau pra -sekolah. Pada saat balita sudah mengalami malnutrisi yang mengindikasikan stunting, maka akan berakibat pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan remaja terhambat. Data Riskesdas 2018 menunjukkan bahwa 25,7% remaja usia 13-15 tahun mengalami stunting dan 26,9% remaja stunting berusia 16-18 tahun dengan prevalensi anemia 32% dimana 3-4 dari 10 remaja mengalami anemia. Pada masa remaja dibutuhkan zat gizi termasuk zat besi yang cukup untuk mengimbangi peningkatan kebutuhan zat gizi di akibatkan oleh growth spurt. Zat besi berpengaruh pada kadar Hb remaja putri yang sedang dalam pertumbuhan, karena peningkatan kebutuhan zat besi pada remaja putri diakibatkan oleh menstruasi.Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan ini adalah remaja memiliki  gambaran yang jelas makanan tinggi zat besi. Melalui kegiatan posyandu remaja yang sudah terlaksana dilakukan inovasi kegiatan bersama dosen tim komunitas, KB dan kesehatan reproduksi. Hasil kegiatan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang makanan tinggi zat besi sebesar 90%.    Kata Kunci: remaja, anemia, zat besi, stunting   Abstract Stunting in adolescents occurs due to nutritional problems when they are toddlers or pre-school. When toddlers experience malnutrition which indicates stunting, this will result in stunted growth and development of teenagers. 2018 Riskesdas data shows that 25.7% of adolescents aged 13-15 years are stunted and 26.9% of adolescents aged 16-18 years are stunted with an anemia prevalence of 32% where 3-4 out of 10 adolescents experience anemia. During adolescence, sufficient nutrients, including iron, are needed to balance the increase in nutritional needs caused by the growth spurt. Iron affects the Hb levels of growing teenage girls, because the increased need for iron in teenage girls is caused by menstruation. The aim of this activity is for teenagers to have a clear picture of foods high in iron. Through the youth posyandu activities that have been implemented, innovative activities have been carried out with community, family planning and reproductive health team lecturers. The results of this activity increased teenagers' knowledge about foods high in iron by 90%.   Keywords: teenagers, anemia, iron, stunting
