This study aims to improve the understanding of fifth grade students of MI Nurul Huda on the material of jamak and qashar prayers through practical methods in the field. The research used a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach carried out in two cycles, each of which included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through pretest, posttest, observation, questionnaire, and documentation, and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed a significant increase in student understanding. The average student score increased from 58 in the pretest to 83 in the second cycle posttest, with the percentage of student learning completeness increasing from 26.7% to 100%. In addition, the field practice method was able to increase students' activeness, enthusiasm, and motivation during the learning process. Thus, the practical method is proven to be effective in improving the understanding of the concept of practical worship such as jamak and qashar prayers.
