Abstract

This class action research has objectives: To increase students' interest in learning fiqh fardhu prayer material with the Discovery Learning learning model for class VII C students of MTs Nurusshibyan in the 2024/2025 academic year. To improve student learning outcomes in fiqh learning with the Discovery Leaning learning strategy for students in class VII C MTs Nurusshibyan Singkawang Academic Year 2024/2025. The essence of PTK lies in the existence of action in natural situations to solve practical problems in learning. PTK departs from practical problems faced by teachers / prospective teachers in the classroom. The implementation procedure can begin with situation analysis, action planning, action implementation, reflection, and evaluation of the impact of action. This procedure can be repeated until the results are obtained in accordance with the expected quality. PTK broadly includes four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that the application through the Discovery Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students in class VII C on the material of fardhu prayer at MTs Nurusshibyan Singkawang. The learning outcomes of students in class VII C on the material of fardhu prayer at MTs Nurusshibyan Singkawang have increased in cycle 1 and cycle 11. The learning outcomes of students in class VII C on the material of fardhu prayer at MTs Nurusshibyan Singkawang 90% have reached KKM 75.
