ABSTRAKPersimpangan jalan sebidang antara jalan raya dengan jalur kereta api yang mengakibatkan banyak permasalahan lalu lintas seperti kemacetan dan rawan akan kecelakaan seperti yang ada di Jalan Raya Haurgeulis Kabupaten Indramayu merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyaknya fenomena persimpangan jalan sebidang yang ada di Indonesia. Berdasarkan hukum yang ada, penelitian ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana cara mengatasi permasalahan di persimpangan jalan sebidang yang ada di Jalan Raya Haurgeulis Kabupaten Indramayu. Dalam perencanaannya, dibuat persimpangan tidak sebidang atau underpass dengan mengaplikasikan double box culvert sebagai terowongan jalan raya bawah permukaan tanah. Turunan underpass dibuat masing-masing sepanjang 70 m. Dimensi box culvert memiliki panjang 12 m, lebar keseluruhan 14,1 m, lebar dalam masing-masing 6 m, tebal pelat lantai, pelat dinding, dan pelat pondasi masing-masing 0,7 m dan tingginya 7,4 m. Penelitian ini menggunakan perhitungan manual yang berdasarkan pada SNI 1726-2012 dan SNI 2847-2013. Pada jalan raya yang berada di box culvert digunakan perkerasan kaku. Untuk perencanaan drainase digunakan 2 pompa air otomatis. Sementara pada dinding penahan tanah digunakan dinding kantilever yang terbuat dari beton bertulangKata kunci : underpass, double box culvert, perhitungan manual, perkerasan kaku, perencanaan drainase, dinding penahan tanah. ABSTRACTThe pattern of a single plot of road intersection building used for twin functions at once, namely used for highway and railway crossing which can cause many traffic problems like congestion, traffic accidents and etc. like the road intersection at the highway of the central town of Haurgeulis City Indramayu District is one of how many phenomena of road intersections and railway crossroads existing in Indonesia. Based on the law of railroad system, this research reveiws how to solve the problems of the single plot of road intersection located in the highway of the central town of Haurgeulis City Indramayu District. In early plan, the railroad crossing should not be built on the same plot together with the road intersection or highway. It should be built as underpass pattern applied to double box culvert as an underground tunnel highway. The derivation of the underpass should be made 70 meters long. The dimension of the box culvert should have length of 12 meters, the whole width should be 14.1 meters, each of the two interiors should be 6 meters wide. And the thickness of floor plates, wall plates and foundation plates, each of them should be 0.7 meters. While the height of the building should be 7.4 meters. This research uses manual calculation based on SNI 1726-2012 and SNI 2847-2013. The highway in the box culvert should be made as rigid pavement. For the layout of drainage, it is necessary to use 2 automatic water pumps. Whereas for fence wall of land, it should use cantilever wall made of reinforced concrete.  Keywords :  underpass, double box culvert, manual calculation, rigid pavement, layout of drainage and fence wall of land.
