Abstract

In the current merdeka curriculum, differentiated learning is an important strategy to meet learning needs and maximize each student's learning potential. Each student is unique in learning style, learning speed, interests, and talents. Through differentiated learning, it can accommodate students' uniqueness with the aim of improving student learning outcomes. Differentiated learning allows teachers to provide various learning approaches that suit students' individual learning needs, so that they can achieve optimal learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of differentiated learning in the Merdeka curriculum on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Ngompro 1 Pangkur. This study uses a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study consisted of 15 fourth grade students of SDN Ngompro 1 Pangkur. Learning outcome data were collected through pretest and posttest. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of differentiated learning as evidenced by the average student pretest score was 60,13 while the average posttest score was 81. In addition, it is also supported by a learning questionnaire which shows that differentiated learning is very effective to be applied in the classroom.
