This research aims to (1) describe the design of learning animations, (2) describe the results of the validity of developing learning animations, and (3) determine the effectiveness of the learning animations developed. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The method used is quantitative and qualitative. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. The research results are as follows. (1) The design of this learning animation was designed through the ADDIE development stages. (2) The results of the validity of animation learning based on the content expert's assessment were 97.32% with very good qualifications, the learning design expert obtained a percentage of 95% with very good qualifications, the learning media expert's assessment obtained a percentage of 95.82% with good qualifications. The percentage obtained from individual test results is 95.2% with very good qualifications. The small group test results obtained were 95.48% with very good qualifications. The large group test results obtained were 92.47% with very good qualifications. In this way, the learning animation developed is declared valid. (3) The effectiveness of the animation learning developed was obtained by t = 74.05, greater than t table, namely 2.055. Thus, the learning animations developed are effective in increasing students' learning motivation. The suggestion from this research is that teachers utilize the learning animations developed in the learning process.
