This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK). Several stages carried out in this research include planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this research were class X students of SMAN 1 Pare-pare, totaling 36 students. The process of implementing audio visual media in this research uses power point and is displayed using an LCD with a saga story showing.The results of research using audio-visual media to improve student learning outcomes can be declared successful. In pre-cycle activities the average value of student learning outcomes was 64. In cycle I the average value of student learning outcomes was 77 with a KKM achievement percentage of 86%. Meanwhile, in cycle II the average value of student learning outcomes was 83 with a KKM achievement percentage of 100%. From these learning results, there has been an increase from pre-cycle activities to cycle I or cycle II activities at each meeting. The results of this research prove that the use of audio-visual media can improve student learning
