This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by digital LKPD on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in class VIII statistics material at SMP Negeri 17 Mataram for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a posttest only control design. The research subjects consisted of two randomly selected groups, namely the experimental class which was given treatment in the form of a PBL model assisted by digital LKPD and the control class which used a direct instruction model. Data was collected through a posttest to measure students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The results of data analysis using the t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the average posttest results for the experimental class and the control class. Based on the results of t-test calculations using SPSS with a significance level 5%, the value is sig. = 0,022. Because the sig. ≤ 0,05, there is a difference in the average value of the problem solving abilities of students who use the PBL model assisted by digital worksheets and classes that use direct instruction. Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL model assisted by digital LKPD has an influence on students' mathematical problem solving abilities with the average of the experimental group being higher than the control class.
