Patient safety is an effort or action that makes patient care services safer and prevents injury to patients. Patient safety needs to be managed well so that it does not result in unexpected events (KTD) or threaten patient safety, with the aim of finding out factors related to the implementation of patient safety in the internal medicine room at Tgk Chik Di Tiro Hospital, Pidie Regency. This research is quantitative in nature and has a population of 30 respondents in the internal medicine room of Tgk Chik Di Tiro Hospital, Pidie Regency, and uses a total sampling technique. The results of research conducted from 26 to 31 July 2023, the majority of knowledge was in the good category, 19 respondents (63.3), the majority of motivation was in the high category, 28 respondents (93.39), and the majority of supervise was in the very category. good as many as 27 respondents (90.0). Based on the results of the bivariate test, there is a relationship between knowledge and the application of patient safety, with a p-value = 0.017 (p0.05), there is a relationship between motivation and the application of patient safety, a p-value = 0.028 (0.05) and there is a relationship between supervision and the application of patient safety obtained p value = 0.000 (p0.5). From this research, it is hoped that the health staff at Tgk Chik Di Tiro Hospital, Pidie Regency, will further im- improve their ability to implement patient safety, both in terms of training and seminars, in order to prevent accidents in patients.Keywords: Patient Safety, Nurse
