This research aims to evaluate the implementation of formal education at LPKA Class 1 Palembang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling with a total of 4 informants. The data collection techniques used are documentation, interviews, and observation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This research shows that the evaluation of the formal education program for High School Student at SMA Negeri 11 Filial LPKA Klas 1 Palembang was held well, from context and input, process, and product evaluation. However, it faces various challenges such as the unavailability of textbooks according to the applicable curriculum, insufficient learning time, the absence of science laboratory rooms, and suboptimal fund distribution. Therefore, the recommendations proposed include optimizing funding, providing learning facilities, and improving the effectiveness of the learning schedule.
