<![CDATA[Articles are a form of written communication that has an important role in conveying information, opinions and thoughts to readers. Articles are usually published in various media, such as newspapers, magazines, journals, blogs and websites. How to write an article will determine how the article will be presented. The article or news text must pay attention to several things and elements of good and correct writing according to journalistic rules, namely paying attention to the 5W 1H, namely What, Who, When, Why, Where, and How. This service aims to increase journalistic understanding in writing articles and news among vocational school students, so that vocational school students are able to write (either articles or news) well before publication in the media later. This service uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method where participants play an active role in activities carried out by the service TEAM. The results of the activities carried out show that vocational school students are able to create articles in the form of news and content that comply with the rules of writing in journalistic activities. Although there are some participants who have to revise their writing and also need a lot of practice in writing articles (news).]]>
