<![CDATA[This study aims to explore the digitalization at SMAN 20 Batam as a “Sekolah Penggerak” (Driving School). This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were obtained from the official website of SMAN 20 Batam and a YouTube video featuring the principal of SMAN 20 Batam, both of which contain information related to digitalization. The research was conducted from September to October 2024. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation by validating the collected data from the website and YouTube video observations. The data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The findings show that digitalization at SMAN 20 Batam, as a “Sekolah Penggerak,” includes, first, the use of the school website to provide information, learning resources, and assessments through various user-friendly features and sub-features accessible to students, teachers, and parents. Second, the school implements the use of Smart Card IDs for attendance and digital library book borrowing. The use of Smart Card IDs for attendance is considered effective and helpful for parents to monitor their children’s school attendance through notifications sent to their mobile phones.
