Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the tendency of students’ discipline and  the tendency of students' perception about the ways teacher teach with the tendency of students’  mathematic learning achievement, (2) the correlation between students’ discipline and students' perception about the ways teacher teach with students’ mathematic learning achievement collectively together or independently. The population of  this study was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri at Wonosari district in Gunungkidul, with the  sample  was 60 students of SMP Negeri 2 Wonosari and 64 students of SMP Negeri 3 Wonosari, with  total sample was 124 students. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling technique. The Data Analysis is using multiple correlation and multiple regression of two variables. Based on the research results, the students’ discipline, students’ perception on the way teacher teach, and students mathematic learning achievement tend to in a high category. From the calculation of multiple correlation test, = 0,517 with the significance 0.000 < 0.05 and= 0.505 with the significance level  0.000 < 0.05 it means that there was a positive and significant correlation between the students’ discipline and perceptions on the ways teacher  to students’ learning mathematics achievement.
