This This study investigates the effectiveness of Qur’anic instructional methods used at the Quranic Education Center (TPA) of Ar-Rohmah Ash-Sholihin Mosque, located in Ngabeyan, Sukoharjo. The TPA applies two key methods: the individualized Iqro’ approach for beginner learners and the tartil-based halaqah model for more advanced students. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation on March 29, 2025. The findings suggest that the integration of both methods substantially improves students’ Qur’anic reading abilities. The Iqro’ method supports personalized learning tailored to individual progress, while the halaqah approach fosters interactive group learning that enhances tajwid proficiency through peer engagement. Several factors influence the effectiveness of the program, including student consistency, teacher competence, supportive learning environments, and the regularity of sessions. Challenges such as limited instructional time, insufficient teaching personnel, and inconsistent student motivation were identified. Nonetheless, the TPA addresses these challenges through adaptive strategies such as scheduling adjustments, involvement of senior students, interactive learning techniques, and increased parental engagement. Keywords: Qur’anic education, Iqro’ method, halaqah method.
