Drainage channels play an important role in draining rainwater runoff so as not to cause inundation or flooding, especially in residential areas. In Jalan Pembangunan, Way Dadi, Sukarame, Bandar Lampung City, the drainage system is often unable to accommodate rainwater discharge during high intensity, causing temporary inundation. This research examines the physical condition of the channel and its flow capacity based on hydrological analysis. Annual maximum rainfall data was analyzed using the Gumbel distribution method after being tested with Smirnov-Kolmogorov to determine the best distribution. The evaluation results showed that some of the channels experienced blockages and structural damage, resulting in a flow capacity smaller than the planned discharge. This condition indicates the need for improved channel design and rehabilitation to increase the effectiveness of surface runoff control and reduce flood risk in the area.
