<![CDATA[The drill method is a method used in learning. With practical exercises that are carried out repeatedly and continuously to gain practical skills and dexterity about the knowledge learned by students. This study aims to determine how the effectiveness of the drill method in improving students' memorization of mufrodat, which the results of the application are presented in a crossword puzzle game for class VII students of Mts. Subulul Huda nganjuk. This research includes descriptive qualitative research, using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data description, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the application of the drill method can improve students' memorization of mufrodat. This is known through the results of the crossword puzzle game conducted by class VII students of Mts. Subulul Huda Nganjuk. In addition, researchers also found some difficulties faced by students in memorizing mufrodat in this study, including different educational backgrounds of students, a less supportive environment and knowledge of Arabic which is still taboo in the view of most students.]]>
