This study analyzes Jesus' teaching in Luke 6:22-23 regarding the response to short stories, with a hermeneutic approach that integrates historical and theological dimensions. This study aims to understand how Jesus' teachings can provide a foundation for Christians in the face of social challenges and pressures of modern times. The findings of the study show that this text not only offers pastoral advice for dealing with suffering, but also becomes a strategy for the formation of Christian theological identity from the early church to the contemporary era. By instilling ethical, spiritual, and eschatological values, the text encourages courage, steadfastness of faith, and the hope of eternal rewards in heaven. This research enriches academic discourse by providing a relevant conceptual framework for pastoral practice and theological education in the midst of modern social dynamics.Penelitian ini menganalisis pengajaran Yesus dalam Lukas 6:22-23 mengenai respon terhadap cerpen, dengan pendekatan hermeneutik yang mengintegrasikan dimensi historis dan teologis. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana ajaran Yesus dapat memberikan landasan bagi umat Kristen dalam menghadapi tantangan sosial dan tekanan zaman modern. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teks ini tidak hanya menawarkan nasihat pastoral untuk menghadapi penderitaan, tetapi juga menjadi strategi pembentukan identitas teologis umat Kristen sejak masa gereja awal hingga era kontemporer. Dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai etika, spiritual, dan eskatologis, teks ini mendorong keberanian, keteguhan iman, serta harapan akan ganjaran kekal di surga. Penelitian ini memperkaya diskursus akademis dengan memberikan kerangka konsep yang relevan untuk praktik pastoral dan pendidikan teologi di tengah dinamika sosial modern.
