This study aims to explore the ethnomathematical concept of geometric transformation in Bojonegoroan batik motifs. Bojonegoroan batik is the result of a batik motif design competition organized by the Bojonegoro Regency Culture and Tourism Office in 2024. There are ten batik motifs each of which raises a theme including the theme of culture, tourism, history, and natural resources of the region. This study uses a qualitative approach of content analysis, with data in the form of visual documents and texts from official sources of local government. The results of the study show that batik motifs contain elements of geometric transformation such as translation, rotation, reflection, and dilatation. The ethnomathematical approach has proven to be effective in bridging abstract mathematical concepts through local cultural media. Bojonegoroan batik motifs are not only a visual representation of local wisdom, but can also be used as interdisciplinary teaching materials in mathematics and cultural arts learning. This study recommends the integration of batik motifs in the development of contextual learning media in schools, as well as a follow-up reference in ethnomathematical studies in other regions.
