The understanding of vocational students in the fashion skills program on the concept of sustainable fashion is still low due to the limitations of learning media that are less interesting and contextual. The material is delivered conventionally through textbooks and presentations that are less effective in helping students understand sustainability issues in the fashion industry. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of sustainable fashion E-Modules in improving students' cognitive abilities. The method used is quantitative with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 69 students in class X of the Fashion Skills Program at SMK Negeri 6 Semarang who were divided into experimental and control groups. The instruments used were in the form of pretest and posttest questions. Previous research data has gone through normality tests and homogeneity tests as tests of analysis requirements. The data analysis then used the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) test to measure the improvement in learning outcomes and the Independent Sample T-Test test to see significant differences between groups. The results showed that the average N-Gain of the experimental group was 76% in the effective category, while only 37% of the control group was in the less effective category. The T-Test showed a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 which means there is a significant difference between the two groups. From this study, it can be said that the use of E-Modules has been proven to be effective in improving students' cognitive abilities towards the concept of sustainable fashion.
