In volleyball games, jump height is important because many skills in volleyball games mostly use jumps. This research aims to determine whether there is an effect of plyometric box jump training on jump height in proclamation junior high school volleyball extracurricular students. This type of research uses an experimental method, with the research design used being a pre-test post-test control group design. The test instrument used in this research used the vertical jump test. The subjects of this research were 20 extracurricular volleyball students at Proclamation Middle School. Data analysis techniques use the normality test, homogeneity test, paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results of the study concluded that there was an effect of plyometric box jump training on jump height in proclamation junior high school volleyball extracurricular students with a significance value of p (0.017) <0.05. Based on the experimental pre-test data, the average was 47.50, then in the experimental post-test the average reached 51.00. From these results, plyometric box jump training showed an increase of 3.5 cm. It can be concluded that plyometric box jump training has an effect on jump height in junior high school volleyball extracurricular students Proklamasi Balongbendo.
