DENSO INDONESIA is an automotive manufacturing industry company Spare parts for two-wheeles and four-wheeles motor vehicles from foreign investors between Japan and Indonesia, So not familiar with continuous improvement (kaizen) in every work process. In fact, PT. DENSO INDONESIA continues to make periodic and continuous improvements to bind the quality of the products produced and eliminate wastes in each work process. PT. DENSO INDONESIA must eliminate muda handling in the work area to speed up work process. This study aims to eliminate muda handling using lean manufacturing with the DMAIC approach. DMIAC method is used to search for data and facts in genba and analyze to get solutions from problems, To find the root couse and idea solutions, use additional tools, with fishbone method and 5W+1H analyze. Do implementation change work tools can eliminate muda handling, this implementation can reduce working time and increase benefits for the company, in 1 year implementation of lean manufacturing with DMAIC approach can save costs of RP 135,244,800 and reduce working time by 28.86%..]]>
