This research is motivated by the fact that the learning outcomes of IPAS 5th grade students at SDN Jiwan 02 have decreased. To improve student learning achievement in learning to obtain satisfactory results, it is necessary to use media and teaching models that are in accordance with the conditions of students in the classroom. The focus of the purpose of this research is to assess the effect of utilizing flora and fauna distribution map media on students' IPAS learning achievement. The researcher used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The subjects in this study were grade 5 students of SDN Jiwan 02 with a total of 11 people in the 2025/2026 school year. The data collection techniques applied included interviews, observations, pre-tests and post-tests. The findings of this study show; (1) Efforts to improve the learning outcomes of 5th grade students of SDN Jiwan 02 by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model and media map of the distribution of flora and fauna through the stages of planning, implementation, action, observation, and reflection; (2) the use of media map of the distribution of flora and fauna in the learning process can create an effective learning atmosphere and the results achieved so that student learning achievement at SDN Jiwan 02 has increased.
