<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the use of suffixes in the novel "Diary Cinta" by Tia Lestari Sidabutar. The main focus of this research is to identify the types of suffixes used in the novel and explain the function and meaning produced by these suffixes in the Indonesian context. Through a morphological approach, this research examines suffixes which play a role in the formation of nouns, adjectives and verbs in novel texts. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this research are reading techniques, note-taking techniques, and processing story content. The analysis carried out is as follows; 1) listening to the reading, 2) analyzing the suffixes in the novel "Diary of Love" by Tia Lestari Sidabutar, 3) grouping the suffixes according to their type, 4) analyzing the meaning and function of the suffixes in the novel "Diary of Love" by Tia Lestari Sidabutar. The research results show that suffixes have an important role in enriching meaning, expanding word variations, and describing the characteristics of the language used by the author. This research also reveals how suffixes contribute to creating atmosphere and enriching language style in literary works.]]>
