This study evaluates the thermal performance of the Shangrai-type drying machine for corn processing. Experimental tests were conducted using five blower speeds (1.5–3.5 m/s) controlled by an AC dimmer. Parameters analyzed included drum temperature distribution, initial–final moisture content, and visual drying quality. Results indicate an average operating temperature of 150 °C with a thermal efficiency of 35.6%. Optimum performance was achieved at 2.5 m/s for 30 minutes, producing uniform drying, golden color, and intense aroma. Blower speeds above 3.0 m/s caused overheating and product degradation. The Shangrila dryer is proven to be a feasible technical solution for agricultural MSMEs.
