Pondok Imam Nawawi has a program requiring students to graduate academically and memorize 30 Juz of the Qur'an. However, some students struggle to meet these targets, inspiring this study. The research aims to identify factors contributing to delays in memorization, hoping to help future students achieve their goals. The findings are expected to improve teaching strategies in Tahfidz institutions and guide future research on procrastination in Islamic education. The researcher used a qualitative phenomenological approach, focusing on individuals' experiences and interpretations. Data collection involved interviews, observation, and document analysis. The study found that procrastination in Qur'anic memorization is influenced by lack of motivation, poor time management, peer influence, and low self-confidence. By addressing these factors, procrastination can be reduced, making the memorization process more effective and meaningful.
