The purpose of this research is to understand the effects of jicama trading on the community’s economic, social, and environmental aspects. This study employs a qualitative method by collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The theory used in this research is the phenomenological theory proposed by Alfred Schutz. The results of the study reveal how jicama sellers manage to sustain their businesses with the same products, the relationships among the jicama traders, and explain the phenomena occurring within the jicama trading complex.
