Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan model pembelajaran inovatif terhadap kualitas pendidikan IPS. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods) yang mengombinasikan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Kabupaten Langkat dengan melibatkan siswa kelas VIII. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan pembelajaran kooperatif secara signifikan meningkatkan partisipasi dan pemahaman siswa. Tantangan dan rekomendasi juga dibahas untuk pengembangan ke depan.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Model Pembelajaran, Inovasi, IPS ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing innovative learning models on the quality of social sciences education. The research method employs a mixed-method approach combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The study was conducted in a junior high school in Langkat Regency involving eighth-grade students. The results indicate that project-based learning and cooperative learning significantly enhance student engagement and understanding of social science concepts.
