Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran media social TikTok dalam meningkatkan penjualan produk UMKM di Kecamatan Dukuh Pakis, Kota Surabaya. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TikTok berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam memperluas jangkauan pasar, membangun citra merek, serta meningkatkan interaksi antara pelaku usaha dan konsumen. Namun demikian, penelitian juga menemukan beberapa kendala, di antaranya keterbatasan literasi digital, kualitas konten yang belum optimal, dan akses internet yang kurang stabil. Secara keseluruhan, TikTok terbukti menjadi sarana promosi yang efektif bagi UMKM dengan potensi besar dalam mendorong pertumbuhan penjualan serta memperkuat daya saing usaha local.   This study aims to describe the role of TikTok social media in increasing sales of MSME products in Dukuh District, Surabaya City. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that TikTok contributes significantly to expanding market reach, building brand image, and improving interaction between business actors and consumers. However, the study also found several obstacles, including limited digital literacy, suboptimal content quality, and unstable internet access. Overall, TikTok has proven to be an effective promotional tool for MSMEs with great potential in driving sales growth and strengthening the competitiveness of local businesses
