This research aims to analyze the effect of human resource development andmotivation on employee performance at the National Narcotics Agency of theSpecial Region of Yogyakarta. A quantitative method was used with 80respondents obtained through the Slovin formula. Data were collected throughquestionnaires, documentation, and literature review. The data were analyzedusing SPSS, including validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, multiplelinear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that humanresource development and motivation simultaneously have a significant effect onemployee performance, with a determination coefficient of 74.1% and asignificance value of 0.034 (<0.05).
