Pelatihan penggunaan artificial intelligence dalam penyusunan modul pembelajaran bagi guru sekolah dasar

Abstract

Abstrak Di era digital abad ke-21, pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam pendidikan menjadi sangat penting, khususnya dalam mendukung guru sekolah dasar (SD) menyusun modul pembelajaran yang efektif dan inovatif. Namun, rendahnya literasi digital dan keterbatasan akses menjadi kendala utama dalam penerapan AI di lingkungan SD. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru SD Aisyiyah 1 Mataram dalam menggunakan platform AI seperti ChatGPT, Canva AI, dan Grammarly secara praktis untuk penyusunan modul pembelajaran. Pelatihan intensif selama dua hari mengadopsi pendekatan partisipatif dan praktik langsung yang melibatkan 12 guru SD sebagai peserta aktif. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi digital guru, termasuk kemampuan merancang tujuan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS, pembuatan konten tematik, dan evaluasi interaktif. Observasi aktivitas guru menunjukkan skor rata-rata ≥3,5 pada aspek partisipasi aktif, eksplorasi AI, kerja sama kelompok, dan kemandirian menyusun modul. Produk modul pasca pelatihan mencapai standar kualitas yang baik, membuktikan keberhasilan transfer ilmu ke praktik nyata. Meski dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti akses internet yang tidak stabil dan variasi literasi digital, pendampingan daring dan materi digital pasca pelatihan memberikan solusi efektif. Pengabdian ini berkontribusi pada penguatan kompetensi guru dalam transformasi digital pendidikan dasar serta mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang menuntut inovasi pedagogis. Kata kunci: artificial intelligence; modul pembelajaran; guru sekolah dasar; literasi digital; kurikulum merdeka. Abstract In the digital era of the 21st century, the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in education has become increasingly essential, particularly in supporting elementary school teachers in developing effective and innovative instructional modules. However, low digital literacy and limited access remain major obstacles to the implementation of AI in elementary school settings. This community service activity aimed to enhance the capacity of teachers at SD Aisyiyah 1 Mataram in practically using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, and Grammarly for instructional module development. The intensive two-day training adopted a participatory and hands-on approach involving 12 elementary school teachers as active participants. The training outcomes demonstrated significant improvements in teachers’ digital competencies, including their ability to design learning objectives based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), create thematic content, and develop interactive assessments. Observations of teacher activities showed average scores of ≥3.5 on aspects such as active participation, AI exploration, group collaboration, and independence in module preparation. The post-training module products met high-quality standards, confirming the successful transfer of knowledge into practical application. Despite challenges such as unstable internet access and varying levels of digital literacy, online mentoring and digital learning materials provided effective solutions. This community service contributes to strengthening teacher competencies amid the digital transformation of basic education and supports the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, which demands pedagogical innovation. Keywords: artificial intelligence; instructional modules; elementary school teachers; digital literacy; independent curriculum.
