This research is motivated by the growing discussion of the existence of LGBTIQ people in society and within the church, both pro-LBGTIQ and anti-LBGTIQ. Within the church itself, there are at least four views on LGBTIQ people: liberal, revisionist, neo-traditionalist, and conservative. LGBTIQ people also experience much discrimination and rejection within the church. This research aims to elucidate the meaning of the phrase “my neighbor” in response to the LGBTIQ phenomenon, drawing on Luke 10:25-37. In interpreting the phrase “my neighbor”, a descriptive qualitative research approach was used through literature study and exegesis. Based on the research results, fellow human beings cannot be limited by any identity; even enemies are neighbours who must be helped. Jesus provided arguments to the scribes, offering an understanding not only of who our neighbour is, but also how to be a neighbour and how to treat strangers as fellow human beings. Likewise, LGBTIQ people are fellow human beings who need help. An ethical theological stance in treating LGBTIQ people as fellow human beings is to build a theology of acceptance in the form of hospitality based on compassion without compromising on their sin. In this regard, the church is called to provide a home for LGBTIQ people. In humanising LGBTIQ people, the church must help LGBTIQ people overcome their struggles through comprehensive pastoral care, encompassing spiritual, social, and psychological support, so that they can return to the sanctity of their sexuality. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh maraknya perbincangan terhadap eksistensi kaum LGBTIQ di tengah masyarakat maupun di tengah gereja, baik yang pro maupun yang kontra terhadap LGBTIQ. Di tengah gereja sendiri, setidaknya ada empat pandangan terhadap kaum LGBTIQ ada pandangan liberal, revisionis, neo-tradisionalis dan konservatif. Kaum LGBTIQ juga banyak mengalami diskriminasi dan penolakan di dalam gereja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan makna frasa “sesamaku manusia” dalam merespons fenomena LGBTIQ berdasarkan Lukas 10:25-37. Dalam memaknai frasa sesamaku manusia dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi literatur dan eksegesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sesama manusia tidak dapat dibatasi oleh identitas apapun, bahkan musuh adalah sesama yang harus ditolong. Yesus memberikan argumentasi kepada ahli taurat sebuah pemahaman tidak hanya tentang siapa sesamaku manusia, melainkan bagaimana menjadi sesama dan bagaimana memperlakukan orang asing sebagai sesama manusia. Demikian halnya dengan kaum LGBTIQ, mereka adalah sesama manusia yang membutuhkan pertolongan. Sikap teologis etis dalam menjadikan kaum LGBTIQ sebagai sesama manusia melalui membangun teologi penerimaan berupa hospitalitas yang dilandaskan pada belas kasih tanpa harus berkompromi dengan dosa mereka. Dalam hal ini, gereja dipanggil untuk menghadirkan suasana home kaum LGBTIQ. Dalam memanusiakan kaum LGBTIQ gereja harus menolong kaum LGBTIQ terlepas dari pergumulan mereka melalui pendampingan pastoral secara komprehensif baik melalui pendampingan spiritual, sosial dan psikologis sehingga mereka dapat kembali pada kekudusan seksualitas.
