This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Smart box media on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education of grade I students of SD Muhammadiyah Gunung Agung, Pagaralam City. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach, using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class which was treated with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Smart box media and the control class which used conventional methods. Data collection was carried out through cognitive learning outcome tests. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant difference between student learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class, with a significance value of 0.028 <0.05. This proves that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Smart box media has a positive and significant effect on improving student learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education subject.
