Abstract

The curriculum is one of the important tools in education. The curriculum has a central position in realizing the goals and objectives of education. The curriculum itself is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the objectives, content and learning materials, to achieve certain educational goals. The Islamic education curriculum must begin with the preparation or formulation of educational goals according to Islam. The goal of education according to Islam is the realization of a kaffah Muslim, namely a Muslim who (1) is physically healthy and strong; (2) his mind is smart and clever: (3) his heart is filled with faith in Allah. The development of these aspects must be balanced. The development of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum has undergone a paradigm shift, although some of the previous paradigms have been maintained to date. Values in Islam contain two categories of meaning seen from a normative perspective, namely considerations of good and bad, right and wrong, haq and batil, blessed and cursed by Allah SWT. This research can provide concrete recommendations for improving the Islamic education curriculum, so that students can have a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings and be able to practice religious values in everyday life.

Abstract

The Islamic Religious Education Curriculum has a very important position in shaping a person's personality. Islamic Religious Education educators as curriculum implementers combine the curriculum by prioritizing cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The existence of this combined curriculum has an influence on the implementation of Islamic Religious Education curriculum management. This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of Islamic Religious Education curriculum management, its effectiveness, and supporting and inhibiting factors that influence the implementation of Islamic Religious Education curriculum management at SDN 27 South Bengkulu.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the professionalism of teachers as educators in order to improve the quality of education along with efforts to increase this professionalism. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach sourced from literature studies. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach sourced from literature studies. The qualitative descriptive method is a type of research that can produce information in the form of notes and descriptive data sourced from the text being studied. Data collection techniques are carried out by reading and reviewing various accurate literature sources, be they books or existing research journals. The results of this research are: (1) Development of teacher professionalism. Professional development is teacher activities in the application of science and knowledge, technology and skills to improve quality, both for the teaching and learning process and the professionalism of other education staff. (2) Teacher professionalism. Professionalism is a performance quality and at the same time a demand for professional behavior in carrying out their duties. Consequently, teachers as professionals are required to be able to work within the corridors of professionalism. and (3) Quality of education. The general definition of quality is the overall description or characteristics of goods or services that demonstrate their ability to satisfy expected needs.

Abstract

The guided inquiry learning model is a learning approach that can increase student participation and learning achievement. In this model, teachers and students work together to formulate problems, and students actively seek answers and conclude their own learning results. This research aims to evaluate Biology Science learning outcomes regarding the Characteristics of Living Creatures material for class VII students at SMPN 7 Bengkulu City and to assess the positive influence of implementing the Guided Inquiry Learning Model on these learning outcomes. The research method used is quantitative with a Quasi Experimental Design research design and a non-equivalent control group design. Data is collected through written tests, image documentation, photos and grades related to learning outcomes. Data analysis used the t test, and the results showed a tcount value of 5.764 > ttable 1.994. These results indicate that the Guided Inquiry Learning Model has a significant influence on student learning outcomes in Class VII Characteristics of Living Creatures at SMPN 7 Bengkulu City. The magnitude of the influence of this learning model is categorized as moderate, with an impact value (d) of 0.78.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of teacher communication skills on students' learning motivation in Elementary Schools. Good communication skills are considered a key factor in creating a conducive and interesting learning environment for students. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. The study population consisted of fifth and sixth grade students in several Elementary Schools in the X City area. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique, involving 150 students who participated in filling out a questionnaire designed to measure teacher communication skills and students' learning motivation levels. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including linear regression analysis to determine the relationship between the two variables. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect between teacher communication skills and student learning motivation. The better the communication skills of teachers, the higher the level of student learning motivation. This study concludes that improving teacher communication skills can contribute to improving student learning motivation, so it is important for teachers to develop and train these skills in their teaching practices. These findings are expected to be a consideration for schools and educational institutions in designing training programs for teachers, as well as in efforts to create a better learning environment for students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the importance of teacher competency training in facing today's educational challenges, which are increasingly complex due to technological advances, curriculum changes, and diverse student needs. The research method used is quantitative, with a survey approach involving 200 elementary school teachers in several areas. Data were collected through a questionnaire designed to measure teachers' understanding of educational challenges, their skill levels, and relevant training needs. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics to identify the relationship between competency training and teacher readiness to overcome these challenges. The results of the study showed that teachers who regularly participate in competency training have a better level of understanding of educational challenges and show higher readiness in implementing innovative teaching methods. These findings emphasize the need to develop sustainable and relevant training programs to improve teacher competence. With the right training, it is hoped that teachers can be better prepared to face the dynamics of education in the modern era and have a positive impact on the quality of education in elementary schools.

Abstract

The teaching profession ethics is essentially the formulation and implementation of good teaching methods and their implementation in accordance with good attitudes and behaviors, both in school institutions and in the community where the teacher is located, however to make teaching as a profession still requires thinking which is broad and deep, considering also that the teaching profession is very decisive whether or not, the progress and decline of the development of future generations. Based on the above thought, this paper tries to present explanations about things that need to be considered in finding and determining the size that will be used in formulating professional teachers or teaching staff in accordance with the educational goals to be achieved, as well as guidance and suggestions for thinking that can be used as input for the learning process in educational institutions.

Abstract

Evaluation is one component in an education system that involves teachers and students. This means that the evaluation must be done systematically and planned. Evaluation is used as a tool to assess and measure a success in the education process. Al-Qur'an as the main source of Islamic education, and also many express the concept of evaluation in the verses as a reference for humans to be careful in doing their deeds. In the Qur'an the term evaluation does not have a definite word meaning but there are words that can be used as a reference to interpret the words of evaluation, such as Al-Bala, Al-Hukm, Al-Qodha, Al-Nazr and Al-Fitnah . This research uses literature study by studying several books and journals. The results of this study are expected for students and teachers to better understand the meaning of the word evaluation in education and in Islamic education.

Abstract

Educator does not sound familiar among the people. An unsung hero is an educator. This writing aims for teachers to become professional educators in the teachings of Islam. There are indeed many teachers but not all teachers are professionals. Being a professional educator according to Islam is an educator who has a great sense of responsibility for the abilities of his students and provides scientific knowledge and religious knowledge.In addition to having knowledge and religion, professional educators must have good personalities, have good morals, have good character, have moral values, are virtuous and have good morals in accordance with Islamic teachings, because a teacher will be a role model for students and he also can be uplifting or provide motivation and inspiration to students and those around him with the abilities he had previously obtained.The professional teacher must have a goal, the goal of the professional teacher in Islamic teachings namely: to build a good society. social justice applies to every student, has a sense of tolerance, brotherhood, love, kindness and truth that stands out in students, individuals have freedom of thought in making decisions, able to live their lives happily. Therefore education is very important for a child, both general education and religious education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning difficulties of seventh grade students of SMP 01 Bengkulu Tengah in data presentation subjects as seen from the location, type and factors that cause student learning difficulties. This type of research is descriptive research. The research subjects were students of SMP 01 Bengkulu Tengah, grade VII, whose mathematics subject was the subject of data presentation, totaling 5 people. The research instrument developed to collect data in this study was a test. From the results of the research conducted, it was obtained: the types of learning difficulties experienced by students in the material on the data presentation subject were the types of procedural errors (skills) and facts with the respective percentages of 5% and 19%. Therefore, it is very important for students to understand and master the material facts and understand the procedures (skills) that are carried out in solving the problems given.
