Perbaikan Sistem Layanan untuk Mengurangi Waktu Tunggu Antrean dengan Simulasi Diskrit

Abstract

The total number of domestic cruise passenger departures was 630,765 passengers in 2021 and increased by 139% in 2022 to 1,506,303 passengers. The increasing volume of sea transportation users has resulted in high demand for ship tickets for prospective ship passengers. In this case, Company XYZ is a company that operates in the passenger and logistics services sector, also serving the purchase and payment of ship tickets. The large number of prospective passengers who use ships owned by Company XYZ is not accommodated with ticketing services or on-the-spot purchases due to the lack of active service facilities available, causing queues to pile up which can take hours at the purchase counter. This research aims to create a model for purchasing ship tickets and provide scenario recommendations to reduce the number of queues at XYZ shipping company. Where the simulation results in existing conditions produced an average utility of 69.77%, after improvements to scenario 1 were carried out by adding a document completeness inspection unit, this decreased by 10.14%. From scenario 1 to scenario 2 by increasing the waiting room capacity there was also a decrease of 4.80%. From scenario 2 to scenario 3 by adding active tellers at counter 3 there was a decrease of 6.50%. Jumlah total keberangkatan penumpang pelayaran dalam negeri sebanyak 630.765 penumpang di tahun 2021 dan meningkat sebanyak 139% pada tahun 2022 menjadi 1.506.303 penumpang. Meningkatnya volume pengguna moda transportasi laut mengakibatkan tingginya permintaan tiket kapal untuk para calon penumpang kapal. Dalam hal ini, PT. XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pelayanan penumpang dan logistik, juga melayani pembelian dan pembayaran tiket kapal. Banyaknya calon penumpang yang menggunakan kapal milik PT. XYZ tidak terakomodir dengan layanan ticketing atau pembelian on the spot karena kurangnya fasilitas pelayanan yang aktif tersedia sehingga menimbulkan penumpukan antrean yang dapat menghabiskan waktu berjam-jam dalam loket pembelian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat model pembelian tiket kapal serta memberikan rekomendasi skenario untuk mengurangi jumlah antrean di perusahaan pelayaran XYZ. Di mana hasil simulasi pada kondisi eksisting menghasilkan rata-rata utilitas sebesar 69.77%, setelah dilakukan perbaikan skenario 1 dengan menambah unit pemeriksaan kelengkapan dokumen mengalami penurunan sebanyak 10.14%. Dari skenario 1 ke skenario 2 dengan menambah kapasitas ruang tunggu juga mengalami penurunan sebanyak 4.80%. Dari skenario 2 ke skenario 3 dengan menambah teller aktif di loket 3 mengalami penurunan lagi sebanyak 6.50%.
