Abstract

Pengelompokan yang dilakukan Hindia - Belanda menghasilkan beberapa Kawasan yang berisikan masyarakat berdasar RAS, yang mana salah satunya terbentuk menjadi Kawasan yang dinamakan Kampung Cina atau Pecinan. Fasad pada bangunan Kawasan Pecinan dapat dilihat dari contok rumah tinggalnya yang memiliki ciri khas tertentu dan dapat langsung dikenali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi fasad rumah tinggal pada area pecinan di Gang Gambiran, Kranggan, Semarang Tengah. Hasil survey data kemudian dianalisis dan dirumuskan dengan mengunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel gambar.Kata Kunci: Rumah Tinggal Pecinan, Fasad Pecinan,  Pecinana Semarang.AbstractThe grouping carried out by the Dutch East Indies resulted in several areas containing communities based on, one of which was formed into an area called Kampung Cina or Chinatown.The facade of the Chinatown area building can be seen from the examples of the houses which have certain characteristics and can be recognized immediately. This study aims to identify the facades of residential houses in the Chinatown area in Gang Gambiran, Kranggan, Central Semarang.
