Globally, tuberculosis (TB) cases are reported at 90%, with 58% occurring in men and 32% in women, and 10% in children (Global Tuberculosis Report 2021). In 2021, the Padang City Health Office recorded 1,199 TB cases, with the largest number in Lubuk Buaya Village, namely 52 cases in 2022. This study aims to determine the relationship between the incidence of pulmonary TB and the physical condition of the house and clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in Lubuk Buaya Village. This study is a descriptive analytical study with a quantitative approach, using 27 TB patients as case samples and 27 as controls. The results showed 50 positive TB cases, with humidity meeting the requirements at 46.3%, ventilation 51.9%, lighting 61.1%, and good PHBS only 33.3%. Chi-square test showed a significant relationship between TB incidence and humidity (p = 0.029; OR = 4.038), ventilation (p = 0.014; OR = 4.750), lighting (p = 0.026; OR = 4.375), and PHBS (p = 0.009; OR = 6.129). These findings indicate a relationship between home conditions and healthy living behaviors with TB cases. It is recommended that the Lubuk Buaya Health Center and the Padang City Health Office increase counseling on TB prevention, including education on healthy homes and community-based sanitation. The community is encouraged to build healthy homes to break the chain of TB transmission.
