<![CDATA[Vocabulary is a necessary thing in a language. There is no language without vocabulary. Vocabulary knowledge is a must thing in learning a language. In order to understand what someone intend to express, we need to understand their word implication, word structure, and word decision. In order to express something clearly, we need to consider our word implication, word structure, and word decision. So, vocabulary holds a key of language comprehension. This study aims to discover the contribution of extensive reading to enrich students’ vocabulary, by utilizing pre-experimental design method to process the data gathered from the 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sidrap.
