<![CDATA[Environmental pollution has become a serious issue in metropolitan cities, as it concerns the lives of many people, including in Palembang -especially regarding waste management, which continues to attract attention. Several studies on pollution at the Final Waste Disposal Site (TPA) have concluded that pollution still exists, although the Palembang City Government has made significant efforts to address it. When connected with the messages of Qur’anic Verses and Hadiths on ecology -especially concerning environmental preservation- socialized well through Islamic boarding school and mosques around the Sukawinatan landfill, this becomes the main subject of discussion. This study is essential as a form of non-formal education for the affected communities. It uses a thematic of Tafsir Mawdu’iy approach to interpret the relevant Qur’anic Verses and Hadiths contextuallly, integrating insights from scientific and social disciplines. The aim is to foster faith-based awarness in adopting clean living behaviors within a healthy environment.]]>
