<![CDATA[This research is a cognitive semantic analysis and uses descriptive qualitative method. Data were taken from 9 lyrics of the German language songs from Revolverheld band. Revolverheld band is one of the bands from Germany. The theory used is a conceptual metaphor of Lakoff and Johnson (2003) as the main theory and image scheme of the Cruse and Croft (2004) theories. The issues discussed in this study are the types of conceptual metaphors used in the lyrics of Revolverheld’s band and its image schemes. The results showed the songs of Revolverheld’s band tell about the journey of life, love story, and sadness.The data found were 27 data of conceptual metaphor with 11 ontological metaphors, 2 orientational metaphors, and 14 structural metaphors. The image scheme founded 1 scheme space, 2 scale schemes, 4 force schemes, 4 identity schemes, 3 unity / multiplicity schemes, 5 container schemes, and 8 existence schemes.AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan suatu analisis semantik kognitif dan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Data diambil dari sembilan lirik lagu berbahasa Jerman dari Band Revolverheld. Band Revolverheld merupakan salah satu band yang berasal dari Jerman. Teori yang digunakan adalah metafora konseptual dari Lakoff dan Johnson (2004) sebagai teori utama dan skema citra dari teori Cruse dan Croft (2004). Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis-jenis metafora konseptual yang digunakan dalam lirik lagu band Revolverheld dan skema citranya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lagu-lagu dari band Revolverheld ini menceritakan tentang perjalanan kehidupan, kisah cinta, dan kesedihan. Data yang ditemukan sebanyak 27 data metafora konseptual dengan 11 metafora ontologis, 2 metafora orientasional, dan 14 metafora struktural.Skema citra yang ditemukan sebanyak 1 skema space, 2 skema scale, 4 skema force, 4 skema identity, 3 skema unity/ multiplicity, 5 skema container, dan 8 skema existence.]]>
