<![CDATA[Leadership and work motivation are one of the determining factors of teacher performance because teacher performance is determined by the attitude and motivation of the leader. good leadership and good work motivation will create a good work climate in an organization which in this case is a school, this is important because the key to successful education and learning is teacher performance. This study aims to determine how leadership and work motivation affect teacher performance at the Teladan Private Vocational School in Pematangsiantar. This study uses quantitative research methods using causal research design to find a cause-and-effect relationship between two variables. the sampling technique in this study is to use saturated or census sampling techniques distributed to 50 teachers. data testing in this study is by validity and reliability tests, hypothesis testing and multiple regression analysis. From the results of partial testing research (t test) shows tcount (5.300) > ttable (1.677) and the significant level is 0.000 < 0.05 this proves that leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. tcount (2.512) > ttable (1. 677) with a significant level of 0.015 < 0.05 this proves this proves that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. F test shows fcount 73.629> ftable 3.20 and the significant level is 0.000 < 0.05 which means that leadership and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance.
