<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the influence of role ambiguity, role conflict, and job placement suitability on the performance of village officials, especially in the context of Sukoreno Village government. The background of this research is based on the importance of effective human resource management in village government, given that village officials have a role that is very close to the community and face administrative challenges that are unique. Unlike the private sector or central government, village governments often operate with limited resources and simple work systems, but are still required to provide optimal public services. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of causal associative research, which aims to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The population in this study were all Sukoreno Village apparatus, with data collection techniques through a closed questionnaire distributed to respondents who had been determined through sampling techniques.The t test results showed that the three independent variables had a significant effect on apparatus commitment. Role ambiguity (X₁) has a t-count of 4,410 and a significance of 0.000, indicating that role clarity increases work commitment. Role conflict (X₂) shows a t-count of 5.170 and a significance of 0.000, which means that the lower the role conflict, the higher the commitment of the apparatus.
