This study aims to analyze the impact of loan shark loans on the family economy of Pulo Brayan Village, Environment I. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, where researchers obtain data from distributing questionnaires, interviews and literature studies with sample determination using the Non Probability Sampling method with incidental sampling types and based on the roscoe formula in determining the number of respondents. Researchers distributed questionnaires to 20 respondents consisting of the Pulo Brayan Village community, Environment I who have other livelihoods. The results of the analysis concluded that the impact of loan shark loans had a negative impact on the family economy, this was because most respondents used the loan as a consumptive and lifestyle channel, and the respondents' uncertain income made it increasingly difficult for respondents to convey their needs and difficulties in paying loans to loan sharks
