Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic educational values ​​within the Sibaliparri culture in the Tamo' fishing community in Majene Regency using a mubadalah perspective. Sibaliparri culture is local wisdom that emphasizes the principles of togetherness, mutual assistance, and shared responsibility between husband and wife in family life and the socio-economic activities of the fishing community. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of community leaders, religious leaders, and fishing families who practice Sibaliparri culture. Data analysis was conducted interactively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Sibaliparri culture contains strong Islamic educational values, such as monotheism, justice, cooperation (ta'āwun), responsibility, sincerity, and deliberation. From a mubadalah perspective, gender relations in Sibaliparri culture are reciprocal and equal, where men and women share roles according to the family's circumstances and needs without negating Islamic principles. The implementation of these values ​​serves as an effective informal Islamic education in shaping religious character, work ethic, social solidarity, and resilience in fishing families. This study concludes that the Sibaliparri culture not only represents the local traditions of the Tamo' fishing community but also serves as a model for the implementation of contextual, just, and humanitarian-oriented Islamic education. The mubadalah perspective strengthens the understanding that Islamic values ​​can dynamically transform within local culture and contribute to the sustainable social development of coastal communities. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam budaya sibaliparri pada masyarakat nelayan Tamo’ Kabupaten Majene dengan menggunakan perspektif mubadalah. Budaya sibaliparri merupakan kearifan lokal yang menekankan prinsip kebersamaan, saling membantu, dan tanggung jawab bersama antara suami dan istri dalam kehidupan keluarga maupun aktivitas sosial-ekonomi masyarakat nelayan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama, serta keluarga nelayan yang mempraktikkan budaya sibaliparri. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya sibaliparri mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang kuat, seperti nilai tauhid, keadilan, kerja sama (ta‘āwun), tanggung jawab, keikhlasan, dan musyawarah. Dalam perspektif mubadalah, relasi gender dalam budaya sibaliparri bersifat timbal balik dan setara, di mana laki-laki dan perempuan saling berbagi peran sesuai dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan keluarga tanpa menafikan prinsip ajaran Islam. Implementasi nilai-nilai tersebut berfungsi sebagai pendidikan Islam informal yang efektif dalam membentuk karakter religius, etos kerja, solidaritas sosial, serta ketahanan keluarga nelayan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa budaya sibaliparri tidak hanya merepresentasikan tradisi lokal masyarakat nelayan Tamo’, tetapi juga menjadi model implementasi pendidikan Islam yang kontekstual, adil, dan berorientasi pada kemanusiaan. Perspektif mubadalah memperkuat pemahaman bahwa nilai-nilai Islam dapat bertransformasi secara dinamis dalam budaya lokal dan berkontribusi terhadap pembangunan sosial masyarakat pesisir secara berkelanjutan.
