Pengaruh Ketebalan Mulsa Organik Ki Rinyuh (Chromolaena odorata) Terhadap Kandungan Nutrisi Rumput Mulato (Brachiaria hybrid cv. Mulato)

Abstract

Studi ini untuk melihat apakah ketebalan mulsa organik kirinyuh berdampak pada kadar protein kasar (PK), serat kasar (SK), dan lemak kasar (LK) rumput mulato. Metode eksperimental dengan RAL 4 perlakuan 4 ulangan yaitu: M0= tanpa mulsa, M1= ketebalan 1 cm (520 gram/0,5625m2) M3= ketebalan 3 cm (1560 gram/0,5625m2), M5= ketebalan 5 cm (2600 gram/0,5625m2). Analisis data dengan Analisis Ragam dan uji Duncan. Hasilnya didapatkan kandungan Protein Kasar (%) M0: 11,01, M1: 13,55, M3: 13,09, M5: 11,52, Serat Kasar (%) M0: 21,6, M1: 20,2, M3: 20,8, M5: 20,5 dan Lemak Kasar (%) M0: 4,48, M1: 3,97, M3: 3,74, M5: 3,49. Analisis ragam mengindikasikan perlakuan berpengaruh signifikan (P<0,05) pada kadar PK, tetapi tidak berpengaruh signifikan (P>0,05) pada SK dan LK rumput Mulato. Kesimpulannya bahwa mulsa organik Kirinyuh dengan ketebalan 1 cm mampu memberikan pengaruh yang tertinggi terhadap kandungan nutrisi rumput Brachiaria hybrid cv. Mulato.
