<![CDATA[Abstrak Masker wajah peel-off merupakan salah satu produk perawatan wajah yang populer karena mudah diaplikasikan dan memberikan efek perawatan kulit yang baik. Daun alpukat (Persea americana Mill.) mengandung senyawa antioksidan yang dapat membantu mencegah dan memperlambat kerusakan kulit akibat stres oksidatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan masker gel peel-off yang mengandung ekstrak etanol daun alpukat dengan variasi konsentrasi polivinil alkohol (PVA) dan hidroksipropil metilselulosa (HPMC), menentukan formulasi terbaik, serta mengevaluasi kesesuaian mutu sediaan dengan standar yang ditetapkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental. Ekstrak daun alpukat diperoleh dengan metode maserasi menggunakan etanol 70%. Sediaan masker gel peel-off diformulasikan menjadi tiga formula dengan variasi konsentrasi PVA dan HPMC. Evaluasi sediaan dilakukan selama satu minggu meliputi uji organoleptik, homogenitas, pH, daya sebar, viskositas, dan waktu mengering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun alpukat dapat diformulasikan menjadi masker gel peel-off. Di antara ketiga formula yang diuji, Formula 2 (F2) menunjukkan karakteristik fisik dan stabilitas terbaik serta memenuhi standar mutu sediaan kosmetik. Secara keseluruhan, ekstrak etanol 70% daun alpukat (Persea americana Mill.) berpotensi dikembangkan menjadi masker gel peel-off yang stabil dengan variasi konsentrasi PVA dan HPMC yang sesuai. Avocado leaves (Persea americana Mill) have antioxidant properties that help prevent and delay the development of various diseases caused by oxidative stress. To make a peel off gel mask formulation with ethanol extract of avocado leaves (Persea americana Mill) with varying concentrations of PVA and HPMC, to find out the formulation for a peel off gel mask with ethanol extract of avocado leaves (Persea americana Mill) has good properties and to find out the evaluation of the ethanol extract peel off gel mask from avocado leaves (Persea americana Mill) meets the standards. This research is experimental research with aims to make an avocado leaf extract formulation. Avocado leaf extract is made using the maceration method. The peel off gel mask preparation is made in 3 formulas with varying concentrations of PVA and HPMC. The peel off gel mask preparation of ethanol extract of avocado leaves (Persea americana Mill) was evaluated for 1 week including organoleptic, homogeneity test, pH test, spreadability test, viscosity test, and drying time test. From the research results, avocado leaf extract can be formulated into a peel-off gel mask. The peel off gel mask in F2 is the best preparation and is quite stable. 70% ethanol extract of avocado leaves (Persea americana Mill) can be made into a peel-off gel mask that is stable at varying concentrations of PVA and HPMC.
