<![CDATA[Globalization and cross-border population mobility influence the educational experiences of immigrant children, particularly in shaping national identity and political awareness. Indonesian immigrant students in Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia, live in an educational diaspora context where the values of the home country and the host country intersect. This study aims to examine the implementation of political education through Civic Education among immigrant students at the Indonesian School for Malaysia (SIM) Tawau. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed. The research subjects included ten Indonesian immigrant students and one Civic Education teacher. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Civic Education functions as value-based political education that strengthens national identity, long-distance nationalism, and students’ awareness of their rights and obligations as Indonesian citizens. Its implementation occurs through classroom instruction and contextual school activities. Civic Education plays a crucial role in maintaining students’ loyalty to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) amid the challenges of global migration.]]>
