ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Literasi fungsional merupakan kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan berhitung yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan memegang peran penting dalam peningkatan kualitas hidup keluarga serta pemberdayaan perempuan di tingkat komunitas. Meskipun capaian literasi di tingkat provinsi relatif baik, ketimpangan akses dan praktik literasi masih ditemukan pada skala RW/kelompok masyarakat. PKK RW 16 Desa Sukoharjo, Kecamatan Ngaglik, Kabupaten Sleman menunjukkan kebutuhan akan intervensi yang mengintegrasikan literasi dengan konteks kesehatan dan pengelolaan rumah tangga, sehingga diperlukan program pengabdian masyarakat yang kontekstual dan partisipatif. Tujuan: Meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan berhitung ibu-ibu anggota PKK RW 16 melalui pelatihan praktis, penyediaan bahan ajar sederhana yang kontekstual, dan pembentukan mekanisme pendampingan berkelanjutan. Metode: Pengabdian dilaksanakan secara luring pada 12 Oktober 2025 dengan pendekatan kolaboratif (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) oleh dosen dari Prodi Kebidanan, Perpustakaan dan Sains Informasi, serta Pendidikan Matematika. Metode kegiatan meliputi ceramah singkat, presentasi PowerPoint, diskusi interaktif, pemeriksaan kesehatan prakegiatan (berat badan, tekanan darah, glukosa, asam urat, kolesterol). Penguatan motivasi dilakukan melalui pemberian doorprize dan sesi tanya jawab. Kesimpulan: Penyuluhan berjalan dengan lancar dan mendapatkan antusias dan dukungan dari peserta kegiatan. Kolaborasi lintas prodi memperkaya materi dan strategi pelaksanaan. Untuk keberlanjutan, direkomendasikan pengembangan bahan ajar lokal, pembentukan kelompok pendamping, dan evaluasi tindak lanjut. ABSTRACT Background: Functional literacy refers to the ability to read, write, and calculate that can be applied in everyday life and plays an important role in improving family life quality and empowering women at the community level. Although literacy levels at the provincial level are relatively good, disparities in access and literacy practices are still found at the neighborhood/community group level. The PKK of RW 16 in Sukoharjo Village, Ngaglik District, Sleman Regency, shows a need for interventions that integrate literacy with health and household management contexts, requiring community service programs that are contextual and participatory. Objective: To improve the reading and arithmetic skills of mothers who are members of PKK RW 16 through practical training, provision of simple, contextual teaching materials, and the establishment of a continuous mentoring mechanism. Method: The community service was conducted on October 12, 2025, using a collaborative approach by lecturers from the Midwifery Study Program, Library and Information Science, and Mathematics Education. The activities included short lectures, PowerPoint presentations, interactive discussions and preactivity health checks (weight, blood pressure, glucose, uric acid, cholesterol). Motivation was reinforced through the giving of door prizes and a question and answer session. Conclusion: The outreach ran smoothly and received enthusiasm and support from the participants. Cross-program collaboration enriched the materials and implementation strategies. For sustainability, it is recommended to develop local teaching materials, form mentoring groups, and conduct follow-up evaluations.
