Every year, older adults in Indonesia face various health challenges, particularly in maintaining psychological well-being. More than one-third of older adults experience mild to moderate psychological disorders, such as stress, anxiety, and sleep disorders. Based on initial observations made during regular recitation activities at the Hidayatullah 26 Ilir Mosque in Palembang, it was found that most elderly people complained of poor sleep, tension, and difficulty calming down after a day of activities. Autogenic relaxation therapy is one approach that is suitable for overcoming stress in the elderly. Autogenic relaxation is a method of self-control through concentration exercises on bodily sensations (feelings of heaviness, warmth, and relaxation). This activity aims to increase older adults' knowledge of autogenic relaxation therapy and serve as a model for the application of evidence-based nursing practice in the community. The method used was quantitative descriptive, using a pre-test and post-test design. The respondents were 21 elderly people who were members of the Hidayatullah Mosque men's study group. Based on the results of the paired t-test, a t-value of 10.55 with a p-value 0.001 was obtained. These results indicate that there was a significant increase in knowledge after the training and autogenic relaxation therapy assistance. It is hoped that the elderly will actively use this autogenic relaxation therapy in their daily lives.ABSTRAKLanjut usia di Indonesia setiap tahun mengalami berbagai tantangan dalam bidang kesehatan, khususnya dalam pemeliharaan kesejahteraan psikologis. Lebih dari sepertiga lansia mengalami gangguan psikologis ringan hingga sedang, seperti stres, kecemasan, dan gangguan tidur. Berdasarkan observasi awal, yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengajian rutin di Masjid Hidayatullah 26 Ilir Palembang, diketahui bahwa sebagian besar lansia mengeluh tidur kurang nyenyak, mudah tegang, serta sulit menenangkan diri setelah beraktivitas seharian. Terapi relaksasi autogenik menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang sesuai mengatasi strees pada lansia. Relaksasi autogenik merupakan metode pengendalian diri melalui latihan konsentrasi terhadap sensasi tubuh (rasa berat, hangat, dan rileks). Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia tentang terapi rileksasi autogenik, dan sebagai model penerapan evidence-based nursing practice di komunitas. Metode yang di pakai adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, menggunakan pre-test dan post-test desain. Responden pengabdian adalah lansia yang tergabung dalam pengajian bapak-bapak Masjid Hidayatullah sebanyak 21 orang. Berdasarkan hasil uji t-berpasangan diperoleh nilai t = 10,55 dengan p-value 0,001. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan yang bermakna setelah diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan terapi relaksasi autogenik. Di harapkan lansia aktif menggunakan terapi rileksasi autogenik ini dalam kesehariannya.
