English language skills have become essential in today’s world, yet introducing them to young learners frequently encounters challenges like disinterest and insufficient teaching materials. At SDN 1 Gunung Batu, traditional teaching approaches frequently foster the belief that English is a challenging and daunting subject. This Community Service Program (PKM-PM) aims to bridge this gap by introducing English through an interactive approach titled "Fun English Games."The program focuses on creating a low-stress environment where students can acquire basic vocabulary through kinesthetic and visual engagement. The implementation involves a series of structured activities, including Flashcards for visual recognition, Simon Says for listening comprehension, and Scavenger Hunts for contextual learning. By shifting the focus from rote memorization to active play, the program seeks to build students' confidence and foster a positive initial spark toward foreign language learning. The ultimate goal of this initiative is to establish a foundation of English literacy and demonstrate that language acquisition can be both accessible and entertaining for children in rural educational settings.
